Legacy
After the Revenue Act of 1919 was deemed unconstitutional, another amendment was propsed that helped regulate child labor. It was called the Child Labor Amendment. The ratification of this amendment was stalled in the 1920s since some people accused the government trying to overthrow the Constitution. However, the Fair Labor Standards Act was passed in 1938. The movement to end child labor was a victory. The Fair Labor Standards Act is still in use right now.
